So I guess the converter isn't really necessary. But is it the same thing as converting it?

I think we talk at cross purposes. AE makes a video of it (it renders it out with Ctrl+M). For example as wmv or avi or mpeg or whatever. And then you can simply import this into WMM. There is no need of a converter program in this process.

Do you need some kind of converter program to do that? For an example, if you want to add a youtube video to WMM downloaded from youtube, you may need to convert it. Is it the same thing as your telling me? Convert it?

If you want to edit a video in Movie Maker you need to render it out in After Effects (for example as AVI) and then import this video into Movie Maker.

I don't get that?

I downloaded a version 5.5 and it turned out too classic and screwed up. That's why I'm asking. But I'll see about that program. Thanks anyways.

Oh, and first make sure you downloaded the trial version for 30 days from adobe . com
It gives you a good overview of the prog. Other good tutorials are avaliable at videocopilot . net

I use CS3, but 7.0 or 6.5 (?) should do the job as well.
