Well, you´re right,her latest album is quite dark, but i think that´s a part of her persona, she´s thinking and worrying about many things,and she´s been through a lot in her life,maybe that´s where the melancholia and sadness of her songs has its origins.

She's a great artist with a real talent...but i'm sure she doesn't need that validation anymore. Her work is a great monolith of achievement but i worry about her diving into darkness in her latest albums.
You want them to be happy and to say "look what I have done" "look at the songs I have written" I'm sure they are a comfort on the darkest days of a Scottish winter.
