i'd argue that his songs of insecurity and overall despondence isn't b/c of femininity but rather from being human and being in touch with his feelings.

I think one has to admit that femininity is an inarguable aspect of his lyrics.

Now I am 43, have kids, a dog and a job.I saw them live in Glasgow 1985 and suddenly I remember how I felt when i was 21 the world was open and life was only fun.
