Window view from the spectacular take-off with a KLM 747 Jumbo Jet (flight KL785) from the very short runway of Dutch/French Caribbean Island of St. Maarten / St. Martin (Princess Juliana Airport).
Right after being airborne see the spectacular view of the island's old volcanic rock and the beautiful bay at Philisburg.
Check out my Caribbean wallpapers at www.fotograferen.net

Sorry, I do admit that I was a complete idiot. But captainlufthansa I've just done some research and KLM does own some 767's. I'm looking at a KLM 767-300ER on Google Images.

It's not a bird. It's not a plane. IT'S SUPERMAN! Just kidding, it's a KLM 747-400. Does KLM still fly to SXM?

  • Sint Maarten (Dutch ...

Sint Maarten (Dutch) or Saint Martin (French) is 150 miles southeast of Puerto Rico. Beautiful Island, half Dutch half French. Good sailing. Sunset Beach bar is a great place for a drink and to watch people blown off the beach by the planes taking off.

the 737 wouldn't have enough fuel to fly all the way from EHAM or any airport in Europe, thus, it's a 747

You can tell it's a 747. 737 winglets look different than these ones. Besides, if the person who filmed this was on the plane itself, of course they would know what kind it was!

Trust me: I was in the plane filming this. It IS a 747! A 737-800 also has a range of about 5500 kilometers and would splash down into the ocean approx 2000 kilomteres before reaching Amsterdam.
