The only other people that are at a great risk are young children, the elderly and people who are on blood thinners. Look up a subdural hematoma before you call it a serious brain injury. To clear up the confusion!!! Mesi suffered a subdural hematoma. Technically it was a a couple of small broken blood vessels that broke on the outer part of the farthest part of the brain. This injury happens constantly in the NFL and in NASCAR. These athletes however return back to their sport within two weeks or so. Once a Subdural Hematoma is healed a person is at no greater risk of having it happen again. The top neeurosurgeons in the World have said this. Not me or Team Mesi

Mesi has a make it or break it fight tonight on ESPN2, if he wins by KO it will be very impressive since noone has ever KO'd Terry Smith but he also could lose this fight, Smith is a big jump up from his come-back opponents! Watch it tonight!

Simply put, Mesi doesn't have a head that can take a heavyweight punch. He was brain damaged by a bloated cruiserweight and collected wins by storming over matched opponents. Williamson was cold in that fight, as if he had no intention of winning. If Klitschko or Peter hit him he would be done, maybe permanently. The only reason the guy has gotten any notice is because he's a white American. I hope he doesn't get hurt; it would be a black eye to boxing.

Joe has shown he has the potential. He KOd DaVarryl Williamson in the first round while it took Klitschko a technical decision to beat Williamson! He's got a good technique and obviously a solid punch. He can make it to the top, if he's got the heart.
