Let's say really cheap wolf 9mm. $10 a 50 rnd box to make it easy, and say 300 rnds of that comes to about 60 bucks.
Ok, now for a replacement barrel(assuming that's the only thing needed to be replaced, which probably isn't true, lol.) Let's just say about $100 bucks for a new barrel.
so.
all-in-all that cost roughly $160. Was it worth it? If I had the money, HELLZ YEAH!
