By CountessMarlene [Affiliate User] 1202956760 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveBram Stokers cruelest figur is Van Helsing! Not Dracula! Funny, isn´t it? Love this film.
By NiamNiamXD [Affiliate User] 1202741026 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeof of course thats what made it great, in retrospect. his stiffness, his expression of the english language. a feared, dark mythic eastern european "other". medieval old world horror and superstition threatening to infect our modern isolationist utopia...of 1932.

By Pentagonshark666 [Affiliate User] 1202384157 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveActually, Vlad Dracula was the sun of Dracul who was born in Transylvania. His father was murdered by the Turkish sultan Murad. He became prince of Wallachia and spent his life fighting against with the Catholic church against the turks. He didn't really have anything to do with vampires except that there was a rumour that he dipped his bread in the blood of his enemies. He enjoyed to torture people and his favorite method was impalement upon a wooden stake.

By 4zotoluco [Affiliate User] 1202145824 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveRemember, Lugosi only learned English for the parts that he played. It must have been very hard for him to know exactly what emotion to portray while he was saying his lines.
By Ariadell [Affiliate User] 1202140578 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou tell that to all the Sean Connery was the one and only James Bond people. They usually are anaware that Ian Fleming didn't like Sean Connery the first time he saw him since he wasn't at all like the James Bond in the novels.
By McLarenMercedes [Affiliate User] 1202127027 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removegary oldman was amazing in that part-he's an incredible actor. I don't know if bela lugosi was necessarily the best, though he was the first. Sometimes ppl mistake one for the other
By crazeeshhhh [Affiliate User] 1201985714 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveDracul was a catholic Christian of hungaria of transyvania he didnt fear the cross and he had a reflection and his body wasnt in his coffin
By TheDareDevil7 [Affiliate User] 1201947600 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou can't beat this version with acting (especially Bela) & atmosphere. The Mexican version at this time has merits. Later Dracs could not approach this level.
By kub73158 [Affiliate User] 1201899319 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIn my opinion, Bela Lugosi was alot better than Christopher Lee.

By nortowns [Affiliate User] 1201057951 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveBram Stoker does not intend his book Dracula to be a horror story. This is his critic on some member of the victorian society whose action and behaviour is comparable ro some blood suckling devil and justice will finally prevail to put an end to them.
