    Thats funny if you look up the picco .26 it is labeled medium block. Sorry to get all tec about it. But he said that traxxas said that they did not think anybody would put a big block in a t maxx and its not. If the 383 was a smaller block then a 454 and bigger then a 350 it would most likely be called a midium block . But it's a small block bored and stroked.

    For the center shaft you can use the traxxas part #5153R and the savage HD 8x77mm dogbone to fix the rear

    Medium block? Come on. Let's not re-invent the wheel here. When someone use to refer to installing a big block in their t-maxx, that meant going to a .21 or larger. Sure the 3.3 is .20, almost a big block. If you want to start a new fad, raise the bar for what is considered a big block. Don't say "medium block". We have enough blocks. You don't hear the car guys saying, "Yeah, my 383 is a medium block". That's just stupid.

    OK I got to run my t maxx 4908 with the red dot .26 and the integy drive shaft after break in was almost done the back drive shaft broke. do not buy any thing integy THEY S**k . (Shelf queen only parts) I am going to purchase two revo rd logics kits to fix.

    hey man!...if u get a second, check out my videos on my 4908 and let me know if u have any advice. dropped a 56t spur in it, along with a handful of other mods, i kept ur videos in mind when building it. i'm also thinking about doing the picco thing, before spring time comes..what all am i gonna need besides tougher driveshafts?

    You can get some metal drive shafts from integy MFG INT T3030# $39.99 I just bought some but haven't got to use them yet but they look pretty Heavy duty. I ordered mine from integy and received them in 3 days. Just thought I would let all t maxx 4908 owners know.

  • wobble in the shaft ...

    wobble in the shaft = death to the trans.i also cut and welded a shaft and within about 12-14 tanks brakes,trans,and even the rear dif. was shot all from a little wobble replaced everything recut and welded the shaft with no wobble it worked great.the wobble even though it moves in and out on the coupler. still wobbles everything.

    i have the picco .26 max in my revo and all of my driveshafts are like that, and have been like that for a gallon. i realize that they will probably break soon but i am just waiting for an excuse to upgrade to some Steel CVDs
