My homebuilt by me semi auto Browning 1919A4. Caliber is 308 but can be converted to 8mm.

    Impressive build! I recently built a 1911 myself, from castings. It's a prime example why firearms laws will never keep criminals from owning them, because if they can't come across firearms on the black market, they'll likely (try) to make them themselves, or find someone who can.

    Right before the final assembly of the gun itself I sandblasted every part, including the in the white side plate for a uniform color. Then I dropped it in a heated parkerizing solution for about 10 minutes and what you see is what I got.

    Those aren't blanks, look at the recoil he's dealing with. Real bullets do that. 1919's as far as I know, use a range of calibers. .308 (7.62 nato) 8mm 30-06 and 50bmg are the ones that I know of.

    It's a scale down replica firing pistol ammo. Real stuff or just blanks?
