I hate when people use derogatory language to describe someone they know nothing about. Especially when that person does so much good. She is helping make people aware. You should give her praise, not bash her for it.

I don't know that qvqvqv23 is a conspiracy theorist, but every organization has its weaknesses - the UN is no exception. However, the UN is generally a force for good in the world, and Jeffrey Sachs knows how to tackle poverty.

Like I said, read the UN's own documents. That organization was hijacked years ago. Just read David Rockafeller's memoirs! It's not a conspiracy theory, these people have spelled out their Eugenics agenda quite clearly.
But hey, I get a sincere vibe from you and we can all contribute to solving poverty.

The UN is the hope for the future of this world. Conspiracy theories are the result of fear, which has wreaked enough havoc already. If only the UN would get the chance to really represent the nations of the world, without its agenda being hijacked by the US, many of our problems would have been solved 20 odd years ago.

I just think this program will help raise people's awareness about the real problems of the world, and our personal responsibility to do something about it. You praise Angelina Jolie for caring about what goes on in countries in poverty, but millions of people care. The person who deserves your praise is Jeffrey Sachs, he is finding out what is wrong in these countries and is trying to help them solve their economic problems.

awareness is the road to start doing something...you don't have to go acroos the world to realize there are certain things to be done. i don't think the fact that she is a celebrity has anything to do with this she is a human like the rest of us...we all have needs...we all need education, food, medicine...it's amazing that she's doing something, that she cares, that's what matters.
