Four police officers in Oakland, California, were gunned down on Saturday 21 March 2009 during a routine traffic stop on MacArthur Boulevard. The police said Lovelle Mixon (27) was pulled over by two motorcycle officers at 1:15 pm Saturday. # He shot the two motorcycle officers and then fled the scene, leaving the officers to die in pools of their own blood.
