There is small island off of the southeastern corner of Brazil named Ilha da Queimada Grande. The small island is home to more then 5000 snakes and is said to have one of the densest populations of snakes anywhere in the world. The Brazilian government prohibits people from visiting the island. One most obtain special permission to land on its shores. NOTE: Snakes have a bad reputation.
