Glad I always have had my video set up to approve or disapprove comments. I find it very cowardly for people to think that they can make all sorts of comments on someone's site - but do not allow comments to come back to them. That is the very definition of a coward and a hypocrite.

AND OTHERS THAT THINK THEY CAN JUST POST ANYTHING THEY WANT ON SOMEONE'S YOUTUBE TEXT COMMENTS! GUESS WHAT! YOU CAN'T!!!! I CONTROL WHAT MESSAGES GET THROUGH. Yeh, you can try and post your ignorance, but I don't have to approve it...and I don't. You are definitely NOT ANY GREAT person. You, and others like you, are cowards hiding behind the wall of the internet.

And he SO DOESN'T LOOK like this anymore! He has willingly tried different looks & different hair styles...But the one thing that hasn't changed is THAT VOICE! It appears so far that Clay is not scheduled to be on AI7singing 1 of his songs from his NEW Album called "On My Way Here". I certainly hope that AI makes way 2 allow this singer, who helped make Season 2 so special, present either the title track, "On My Way Here" or some of the uptempo ones, especially "Falling" (my favorite)or "Ashes".

Wow! I love Clay. I remember this first audition. I took one look at him and said "no way", but then he opened his mouth and it was just amazing. He was the real winner of Season 2! The thing I can't believe is how much he looks exactly like that guy from Season 5 or 6 that auditioned and wanted to be the "next Clay". Remember, they brought him back for the finale? Well, they look like twins if you look at their audition tapes! Crazy! But I still love Clay! He's my favorite idol!!!

Goes to show how such an eminent example of judging a book by its cover this audition session is. I love how he blew away people's expectations (including mine) with this audition clip. I too thought he was just a no-talent geeky wannabe. Then he opened his mouth, my ears perked up and I got hooked forevermore.
A close friend of mine first saw and admired Clay's Solitaire in AI3. Seeing this audition, she couldn't believe that this was the same guy.
Awesome indeed.

His singing gives me shiverrrrsss.... He is awesome!

Just in case you don't know - Clay's new CD of all original music, including uptempo (woo woo!) comes out Tuesday, May 6th! I-tunes (preorders, K-Mart, and QVC(pre-orders) have versions with different bonus tracks (and QVC has the original 'This Is The Night" video that was never released. It's also available on May 6th at Target, Walmart, K-Mart, etc.
