  • Hi Flyarchunt, ...

Hi Flyarchunt, This misalignment is intended to reduce the chance of tail flutter (elevators) that can occur when the speed goes up. On my Challenger "IGCM" I have little less difference in alignment and I never experienced any flutter. Remark, my normal cruse speed is only 72 MPH @ 5600rpm. Production aircraft have also some sort of system to eliminate this tendency. One is to add weight forward hinges axis. Someone have ever experienced flutter on ultralights ?

    Safety issue?
At 3:04 on the video, the left elevator is considerably higher than the right. Is there a control problem?
    Nice A/C and video.
