Doom 3: GX2 Mod - HDR Enabled

this game is gonna be sincerely creepy & atmospheric compared to the retail-version, when you add the PSX doom-music to the levels.

Tell someting about my opinion for the new music . Do will you add option ( or some avtoexec ) who allow cut out the new added soundtracks by you ?

Well see, I'm trying to keep the game as original as possible. Theres never been a railgun in Doom and I'm sure as long as ID will produce that game, there will never be one.
The game is very well balanced and you will need the BFG to beat it, I guarantee you that.
Most monsters spawn anyway, so a railgun would only be usefull if they were around already, then you can kill them from another room. Thats not the case in Doom 3, so its useless.

Can you add railgun ? Some amazing automatic reil who makeing the monsters to suffuring . Railgun is one of most genius guns in the FPS history ever . Maby will be bettere to cut the BFG and replace him with Reilgun . Automatic Reilgun ? Offf that is a lot of work for you , but will be smashfull and better alternative then BFG's greenest S**ts .

That music in your video is BAAAAAD & PsYchO and only that will convince me to stay away from your mod . Midnigt - i strongly advice you that you have to create some option who allowing cut off of your psycho sound . Will be shamefull if you don't do that cause then you will S**t your own work . Not everibody have your sound taste . Btw... the grafics is best . The guns is best . The intensity is best . The HDR is best . The Blood is best . Do we have soft shadows... will be best ? DooM 3 RULZ !

Midnight... create option on your mod who allow to cut out your old doom musics on the levels and boss's . I do not telling that the music gona be bad or like , but the music is very important thing in games and some people is very critical about that issue . So... please... make option allowing cut out of added music by you . I hope i don't need to use that option . Good work midnight... and good luck - transmission send . :)

Theres a lot of programs you can use, depending on what you wanna do. I did most graphic changes with 3DsMax. Things like Skins need a professional photo editor and so on...
In the end, all you need to embed your changes to Doom, is a program that can create .zip files (7zip, Winzip) Cause the resoruce files are stored as pk4 files, which are .zip files.
So its very easy to mess around with them. Just unzip a pk4 file in the Doom3/base folder, change files, put it back together, done.

with what program(s) do you make this mod ? (srr i don't know anything about modding :p )

I just keep getting new ideas. I'd say the mod is done around November. But it was worth it to wait this long. I've done some changes ever since the first video that make it so much better.
