For anyone whose an extreme Cloverfield fan, they should probably know of the upcoming adult-comedy spoof, Cleavagfield. But while it maybe be a spoof of Cloverifled it appears on the other hand might be borrowing more from Max Fleischer. What I mena is that monster in Cleavagefield appears to be in fact a very close match to the monster from the 1942 Superman cartoon The Artic Giant, one of the first films to use a giant reptilian monster which would inspire other giant monsters of a similair type and lead to the creation of Godzilla as well as the kiaju gerne in general. Wether or not this is just part of the spoof or not is unknown(but it probably is), but I felt it was worth mentioning.

Now, the audio is a little choppy and I do pause at times, but his is one of my first attempts with a desktop microphone recording so don't judge to harshly. Also it is a bit inconsistant since I made it a few days ago and have been unable to upload do to a busy schedule. Anyways, hope you enjoy and understand. Oh, and I also made a mention about the video of my cloverifeld toy i made a while back, just to clear some things up. Enjoy!

  • I knew the monster ...

I knew the monster looked vaguely familiar, but would not have gone so far back to try to connect it.

Excellent eye and an excellent catch.

I should add though that I believe the Fleischer cartoons are now Public Domain, so no infringment is possible (nor intended, as it's probably just an inside homage anyhow).
