I saw GM last May. Great guitarist but the gig was average - no attempt was made to showcase any other musician, and there was no banter or rapport with the audience - every song ended with "this next one's called..."

Albert is Albert and Gary is Gary dont compare the two of them. Gary has done some good songs that Albert hasnt, and so on has Albert done his Good stuff.

What?! Albert King>Gary Moore. Gary just cranks up the gain and steals licks. He's boring. That would be fine, I'd be fine with it, but whoever produces his record kills him. So over-produced, they don't have any of the grit that makes a blues record great. They sound like the backing track you might download free from the net. I genuinely think King has more soul and passion than Gary does. He's more interesting, certainly. There's tension with him. None with Gary.
