How Does A Stun Gun Work?

This video and the guy in it are full of sh*t. He just sells these peices of crap and they're popular because they're so cheap. They do not work and the guy at the end is acting. No way in hell he would fall down from this thing, ever.

I wish someone would post a video of themselves being shocked for 10 seconds with a small stun gun & not dropping to the ground. Many people say they can take it, yet for over one year, not one person has proved me wrong. Please prove me wrong! Prove this thing does not work!

What do you base your comments on? Why did the guy in the video go down in .5 seconds??? As soon as he was zapped, he went down. Please show us a video of anyone not going down with a 3-4 second burst. Put your money where your mouth is, or shut up...

i gauruntee you one hundred percent you hit a guy with that 4 3-4 sec he absolutly will not go down ..... it wont be comfertable but i promice you he will not fall

True, that's why they will drop a male bull in seconds, or a 6ft 5 thief on COPS! Stun guns work just as well, though the taser gives you the 10-15 ft distance you don't get w/ a stun gun.

tasers rely on sending a fake message to the mussels telling them to all contract at the same time. this causes them to tire and since they are all locked they cant move. stun guns rely on pain and supprise

Yeah! stun gun is an electrical self-defense device that uses high voltage to stop an attacker. Touching a person with the prongs on the stun gun quickly immobilizes the attacker. However, because the amperage is very low, no serious or permanent injury is inflicted,but it would be very useful for womens self protection.

TheCandleShoppe was bringing up good points, as you do also regarding where a person is hit is very important. We have people say they have survived a stun, yet I have to ask 2 questions. How long did they stun you, 1/2 second does not count. A full 5-10 seconds please. Second, put it on video, then we will believe you! We have yet to find one person who can do that.

Except for a guy who shocked a baby and it died, I can not find any articles on a person dying from a stun gun. A Taser is a stun gun on steroids; while it's a meager 50,000 volts, it pulsates it at different frequencies and levels over and that's what takes a person down. It's just five seconds, however, 5 seconds of being tased is like a lifetime... And people have died after being tased, though a normal, healthy person should not die after being stunned by a stun gun, or Taser.

(To: TheCandleShoppe): The voltage is factor, as well as where he was hit. Just because he says it won't work doesn't mean so, just means he's covering his bases in case someone makes a claim they tried it in that area, with that particular gun, and it didn't work for them. Remember he's on a video demonstrating, so there's a liability for him.. Stun guns work! Big time..even the little ones..

thanks for the vid.. but whats the amperage on it? because ive seen people shock themselves with a 650v one. and they were still standing, guy weighted about 150 pounds. so im kind of thinking about it still.
