The M1 Abrams is a military tank produced in the United States. is a main battle tank, the well armed, heavily armored, and highly mobile offensive mainstay of modern armored ground warfare. Notable features of the M1 Abrams include the use of a powerful gas turbine engine, the adoption of sophisticated composite armor, and separate ammunition storage in a blow-out compartment for crew safety. It is one of the heaviest tanks in service.

In World War II, it took a Sherman Tank an average of 17 rounds to destroy an enemy tank 700 meters away. The Abrams, by contrast, can destroy certain enemy tanks by firing, on the move, a single round from 2,000 meters away

    M1A2 ad Leapord 2A6 use exact same gun. Its gas turbine engine is by no means slow its quite fast and provides exalant maneuverability. The only problem and i mean only problem with the M1A2 is its a gas guzzler. You should also check out the TUSK packages for the Abrams they are pretty cool.
