U.S. Army Ranger School - Part 5

NO!!! go with your dreams... go Marines. You'll regret it. I ship out to MCRD on June 15, 2009. I know this is the best decision of my life. The Army did the same S**t to me. and then they set up an appointment with me and never F**king showed!!! Go Marines dude.

How do you leave behind your weapon...when your getting shot at...that should be the only thing you don't forget

I would follow your dream, if that is becoming a Marine then don't let anyone persuade you otherwise.

Man i want to be a Marine so bad but the Army Recruiters keep bugging me and telling me i can join Ranger and go Airborne it is so tempting but should i take the chance and see if i can become a ranger or just go Marine and fulfill my Dream

Let me give you guys thinking about a combat MOS some valuable advice. Never ever trade away your Cheese for peanut butter. And if you happen to get your hands on some jalepeno cheese try and keep it a secret. The worst MRE is bean & rice burrito, the best are in the box marked 'B' good luck with the rest of the S**t , and don't try and marry a drinky girl when you're in Korea.

Listen guys, it's impossible to determine who would win or who's better. The various forces each specialize in different areas. Each of these forces were created and are used for different types of missions. Everyone is trained in a different way and every unit has different capabilities. In other words, there are missions that a Ranger unit can accomplish that Special Forces or Delta Force teams couldn't accomplish or do as well due to specialized training and total numbers. (And vice versa)

heres the heirarchy:
1. delta/devgru
2. marine recon/ranger/seal/green berets/air commandos
3. regular soldiers
This is the real classification. im not saying ones better
this is the REAL heirarchy. its hard to compare these spec. ops. since every1 has their own views on who is better.
#1 is the special teams (SAS would fall under this); these r the elite of the elite drawn from vet. spec ops. (#2)
#2 is the united states special ops
#3 is the regular army

SAS > Delta Force > Spetsnaz > Ranger > Marine > Soldier > National Guardsman

You can't really compare rangers and SAS, sas are more like seal's and rangers are more like commandos.
