    I think you're talking about the little filmstrip & speaker button in the lower right hand corner of the Source Panel. Clicking the button cycles through the options to take just the video (filmstrip icon), just the audio (a speaker icon and the viewing area shows the audio's waveform) or both video and audio (the icon shows a little filmstrip and speaker, the default setting when working with a clip that has both video and audio).
