I love the original, but this one was just a good ol' sexy thriller. :)

i like 'em both, but for different reasons. much like the Black Christmas movies i like both of them for two different reasons.

I think the issue with Sharon Stone is not her acting ability. She proved she had real talent in CASINO. But the problem is that she only gives a non-Sharon-Stone-esque performance when she's being directed by someone (e.g. Martin Scorsese) that isn't the least bit impressed that she's Sharon Stone.

Worst remake ever until Gus Van Sant redid PSYCHO. This film doesn't work because Hollywood was behind it, aborting the things that made the original great for something "more conventional". There was a huge lawsuit filed by Henri Georges-Clouzot's widow. They cleared the rights to the original French novel, but NOT the previous film's screenplay.

LOL, i didn't cause i don't have a video store in the town i live and unfortunally don't have the time for wathing it... Guess that i'll rent it when i will be back to France, it means in one month.
