I love this song cause it helps me when i go through the storms in my life.

I thnak God for Bill Gaither and all the angelic voices he allowed to share with us. I had never heard of bill Gaither or any of the southern gospel until I was endowed with a private duty nursing job. The family I was caring for had all of the videos...I was truly blessed and have been a fan ever since.

This song is a blessing and a safe harbor in tough times. I hurricane was at our home, and as I lay with my two baby boys, Fred and Jimmy, I sang and sang this Till the storm passes by, all I knew was the chorus but it kept us safe. The babies slept soundly and we had very little damage, as the houses around us suffered more. Praise God for this song and the years of praise and worship of the Goodman Family. I am a flight attendant with a major airline. I was recently in Toronto working a flight, when I was informed that we would have to make an emergency landing. We circled for about 45 minutes, before landing. I prayed and sang this song to myself. I changed the words to Hold me fast let me stand "KEEP ME SAFELY TILL WE LAND" Keep me safe till the storm passes by. God gave me and inner peace, and we landed smoothly. Thank you for the song, and the video. Pray for us daily.

This is to be sung at my Nanny's funeral this week. Thank you precious Ms. Vestal for making this song so special.

During a very long illness, I heard this song. I think it has stayed with me and the Lord has used it in helping me stay strong as He does his healing in my body.
Thank God for sweet Vestal. What a blessing you were and still are!

When I was very ill, I heard this song. At first it made me cry, but I loved Vestal's sweet spirit, so I played and played this song. God did keep me safe till the storm passed by.

Vestal Goodman was such a Godly woman. She not only sang of that love~she showed to all who would listen. Her prayers told the world of her love for the One that she sang about. She lifted Him up so that we all could see the Jesus she was singing of. I can safely say that alot of people were led to know the One that she knew. And maybe she never even knew...but she sure does now! Well done thy Good and Faithful Servant Miss Vestal.
