CAsino Royale was fantastic. Best Bond ever. This scene + ending= Classic

He had me from the first scene which showed his first and second kills to get OO status. But this scene almost made me piss my pants. I was seriously sitting there like "But wait, if he dies, who's gonna be Bond????"

I always liked Martin Campbell as a director, but this scene was the BOMB.

This is my FAV scene of ALL bond movies. Just brilliant. 2nd best, has got to be the Casino Royale ending, with "Bond, James Bond" CLASSIC.
Hope next one lives up to the hype

Although this movie does play to the classical right notes, the integrity and class of bond films of yesteryear is remaining. The movie is a new look on the bond genre, and the action of most scenes ties in with Daniel Craig; the new and improved harder, faster bond.

For all its melodrama, I kind of love that moment. Interestingly, it has an artistic precedent in the opera "Tosca," which, I have heard, will be featured in "Quantum of Solace."

I was watching the movie in the cinema when he said "you ok ?" all the watchers burst into laughs with me. ahahah

I think the only tacky thing could be his endurance,but he induced vomit quickly,maybe lessening the effect,plus Bond's training=healthier heart.
The shock reanimates the heart again even if it were to 'stop' without v-fib,and Bond was technically 'dead'for about 10s,not enough time w/o oxygen in the brain to cause trauma.
Now movies try to be more realistic (superhero movies try to have a 'scientific'explanation),but some exaggeration's ok in films like 007 who fights on top of a crane XD

First thing he says when he becomes conscious again, and it's "You ok?" *groans*

ah but you see this is hollywood where people can be hung and then come back to life(the show LOST) and cars can take down airplanes(die hard 4)
so what do you expect reality? dont be silly!
