its volunteer and i know people who are there who are like 17 and 18, but there was just an incident with one guy who was 18 and just fooled around and didnt take it seriously but i really wanna do a good job and make it count..

That is kind of messed up. Is it a paid or volunteer dept? Since they said no, you should check into other towns in your area. Alot of volunteer depts. accept juniors.

yeah i have went there before, i asked to do anything and he turned me down and told me that kids were not responsible and didnt deserve to be there..

You should go to your local fire station and see if they allow junior members. Alot of volunteer depts. take junior members as long as your 16.

I'm a volunteer firefighter from CT and proud to be one. I've had a few people I have called friends give the ultimate sacrifice and will be missed greatly. Excellent video, helps me to remember that they will always be with me.

i could not agree with you more.. i love firefighters ive always wanted to be one im only 16 at the moment but i really want to get into it.. there the greatest heros of all!
