Secure My Wireless Router with WPA (enhanced Security)

i have worked with 2 Dlink routers, and i have had an overall good experience. Just some issue with Mac where at times the connection just shuts down and i have to restart. But his might be an issue from Apple's part. I havent tried to resolve it yet.
but with PC it is great.

check under the router. if u dont find anything then:
FOR PC:
go to network connections-> right click the wireless network you wish to secure-> status-> details.
it is usually next to: IPv4 Default Gateway.
FOR MAC: click on the wireless icon "Top right"-> open network preference->TCP/IP and it should be next to Router.
Try to install the advanced security i have the video for.
this is not a webiste u go to but the local interface config of the router.

hi i have a d link router but when i add the ip address i dont get that blue page it sends me right the the d link website and i cant log in

This is absolutely great work. This helped a lot, this made it much simpler to setup a secure wireless router. I have been trying something like this and this video is great. Anybody reading this I recommend that you follow this video. By the way Thanks.

the internet is never secure. This is the inconvenience of convenience.
- i think D-Link are good routers.
- WEP & WPA are different configs for the same router, you choose any.
- The ip Address you login to is not a website, it is the page configuration for your router only.
-when you set up your router you call it whaat you want, to change the name you log back to ur router's ip and do it from there.

this is not right. that all wrong. i wish everything would be a safe. i think it should go through his.omg. also how do i name my router and what kind of router should i buy

-Admin can have more privileges then a user. sometimes they are both the same sometimes different.
-Restart your router by unpluging the power waiting 2-5 minutes then pluging it back. wait 2 minutes so it boots.
-Why would anyone invent Virus? plus your neighbor can use internet to access the net, download music and videos illegally and he got monitored then it is you ISP that goes to you not his. Also i can know what info u r transmitting over the net by stealing your Packets.

Camtesia studio is by far the best screen capture. You can get a free edition: Jingproject website. but you cannot zoom in Jing.

ok what the diff between admin and user do i like type in the same usename and pass or something and how what u mean by restarting the router like uplug it from teh modem or turn it off.plus why would anyone want to hack your router.plus what are illegeal site u are talking about.plz reply back
