From January 1996: I edited together roughly a week's worth of acknowledgements from train crews passing through the Sidney, Ohio area on the Indianapolis Line. I used to live about three miles from the detector and had my scanner hooked directly into the recorder. Conrail fans will note a wide variety of train symbols and lead locomotives. In addition, some are a bit humorous. One guy keeps calling it "Harding", another calls it "Hardin Ridge." Well, it was near a ridge at the time I guess. The detector was moved after the CR split to the Lindsey Rd. crossing, roughly a mile east.
