After what's likely been a very difficult week, Robert Pattinson has some good news today -- the British actor's career is still on fire. Late yesterday, on the heels of Kristin Stewart's admission of guilt over cheating on her longtime boyfriend, Screen Australia announced plans to provide financial backing for Pattinson's next project "The Rover." The film is described as a QUOTE "futuristic western," and from what we hear shooting is set to take place in the Austrailian desert. Perhaps this out-of-the-country shoot will give the actor some time to escape from his the attention his relationship scandal is drawing now. "The Rover" will focus in on Eric, who will be played by Guy Pearce, who leaves his previous life behind, and joins Rey, who will be played by Robert Pattinson, to hunt down Rey's gang after they steal all of Eric's possessions.
