Would u happen to know how many LPM a 4 HP engine requires to run on full throttle using hydrogen gas, or biogas?

    Thanks much.

  • If that is how you ...

If that is how you are going to make the hydrogen, you might as well just use an electric motor - it would be far more efficient than using electrolysis to make hydrogen to burn in an ICE.

HHO generators are absolutely not a solution to our dependence on oil! For practical use you need to store it. Your simple HHO generator you put on your car hardly makes up for the inefficiency of your car alternator. It's just a band-aid.

if you look at his patent, its not just air. He cycles in the exhaust from burned hydrogen back into the mix as well, or at least thats how I interrupted the images. The text reads "Non-combustible gas", but from what I've been reading isn't the byproduct from burning hydrogen steam?

Stay tuned - I have ruled Hydrogen out as a fuel alternative where I live (nowhere to buy it except for welding supply houses - expensive!) but am going to try E85 (ethanol %85). This requires a conversion kit for my car and who knows, I may start distilling it myself legally. I'll post a video of my ethanol conversion in the next week. Watch for it! Thanks for all the support!!

Well yes and no. If it was on a foot peddle valve and the pressure was high going to the valve the throtle responce would be to sensitive. You have more control with lower pressure..

But Hey i would like to see another video if you made one. I would like to see that thing run agian.

  • Jason, I saw a ...

Jason, I saw a video o Stan Meyer and he was talking about the problem with the burn rate being faster than gas so he was talking about mixing with an inert gas to slow the rate down to that of gasoline. Basically he was forcing more air to mix with the hydrogen.

Sorry, I don't follow. As I understand it, it takes quite an amount of electricity to generate the HHO. As in, so much, that to make it that way is very ineffecient cost-wise. As for storing it in a metal tank, my tank is holding 2,200 psi of the stuff and there's no way that a "bubbler" will produce that kind of pressure. Please help me if I am wrong. Thanks.
