쾌걸춘향 Sassy Girl Chun-Hyang - 사랑인가요 W/Eng. Sub. Perhaps Love

This is a video montage of a Korean TV drama called 쾌걸 춘향 (AKA Sassy Girl Chun-Hyang, Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang, 豪傑春香, 快傑春香) set to 사랑인가요 ("Perhaps Love" from 궁/宮 Love in Palace/Princess Hours/Palace/Goong's OST) sung by 하울(HowL) & J.

Sassy Girl Chun-Hyang is a Korean miniseries that is based on the well-known Korean legend of Chun-Hyang set in the modern day. It has all the element of a great TV show - action, romance, drama and comedy. I don't think I have laughed or cried as much with any other TV shows or movies. I usually do not watch the modern day setting Korean drama since they tend to be too mushy. However, I really like this one with the well-balanced drama and comedy. (I found out that the script was written by the Hong sisters. No wonder I like this drama.) The two main leads Han Chae Young (한채영 as Sung Chun-Hyang) and Jae Hee (재희 as Lee Mong-Ryong) were excellent. Their acting skills have shined throughout the series. Also, I love Mong-Ryong's father. He is really funny and an ideal father-in-law. Anyway, this drama has become my all time favorite Korean drama. Also, if you watch this drama, don't miss out on the end credit scenes. They are hilarious! I have added my favorite end credit scene from episode 12 at the end of this video.

A note on my English translation: Like the other one, I have tried to stay close to the original meaning as much as possible. However, there is one line that I should mention:

서롤 만나기 위해 이제야 사랑 찾았다고

The direct translation would be: "In order to meet each other, we have finally found love". This did not make sense to me -- unless you meet first, how can anyone fall in love? So after putting some thoughts into it, I have translated as "Just like we were destined to meet, we have finally found love as well". I thought this made more sense (at least to me.)
