Thomas Edison was just an businessman nothing more, it was the great inventor NIKOLA TESLA u gave us AC electricity...

he was mainly a great businessman and he had a lot of money to buy a majority of the inventions in his name. The light bulb was an idea that had been around forever...he just got one to work longer than others.
