Obviously it was a fault of the pilot, why he take long time in the runway

Annie3239, for a 12 year old you made a very good point...I'm a flight attendant in Sydney Australia and when I was training this was one of the videos that we all studied for. I wish you all the best in the coming years to become a pilot.

Why did the captain wait for total clearance of the runway before taking off? i think he should take the responsibility. he might be worried that his license will be suspended for flying over the allowed hours.. thus putting people's life at risk.

Err... at the moment before the KLM was about to crash to the Pan Am, Why aren't the flaps of the KLM enagaged?

The Dutch Pilot was impaitent he could of listened, and save the lifes he lost!

The two air traffic controllers never worked as ATC after the Tenerife Disaster. The Spainish media chased after the two controllers for "answers" after the crash. The former controllers declined interview on virtually all the documentaries made about the Tenerife Disaster. The two are still alive today, out of the public's eye.

Air Crash Investigation is a Canadian production, this is their special documentary outside of their normal syndicated episodes.

i'm only 12 so it's just a suggestion ..
why didnt they make the aircraft in the back that was 100 km. away go first then they should make the dutch go when the aircraft that had to turn on the 4 thing is gone ..
it would have made it alot easyer ..
i wanna be a pilot when i grow up (:
