ive seen all tommy tiernans stuff and ive never noticed this.tiernan dosent do any political stuff thats the best part of bills act.how exactly does he rip him off?

Have you considered that perhaps he himself had no decent way of approaching those jokes, impressionally / verbally; that the very demeanor / appearance of a comedian limits what they can actually make humorous? Ponder for a moment how "funny" it would be for a Bill Hicks to be up on stage doing impressions of crack heads. And these "progressives" that you speak of are a minority; anyone with reason understands that there's more than one side to every coin. Watch less television, etc. etc. etc.

It's just that this speaks of the predictable nature of the Hicks anti-authority agenda. Despite the idea that he was some 'brave' 'fearless' crusader, entirely predictably he doesn't make any comment on the hordes of black thugs that make policing in LA a living hell. Couldn't risk offending that touchy progressive fan base.

have you even seen the tape of king getting beaten and kicked after he was on the ground and no longer moving? in case you only saw the first 5-10 minutes... THEY KEPT BEATING HIM after he was subdued. i think anyone who watched this act of racism will have a real good 'clue about policing LA' how can anyone watch that tape and NOT have anything of an 'anti-authority' nature to say? except for racist people i guess, and maybe a cop or two in denial.
