The wait is over! The first episode of Transformers: The War Within is now complete. As I cannot go over 10 min on youtube, the episode had to be split into two parts; here is part 1.

This is adapted from the Dreamwave comic book of the same name. Many people volunteered their free time to work on this and it is offered free of charge here, with higher quality versions also available for free download from tfcog.com

    There were six issues plus one "preview" issue in Volume 1. So far I have only covered one issue of Volume 1.
    There are also 6 issues of Volume 2 and 3 issues of Volume 3 (6 were planned, but the company went bankrupt).
    I am only planning on doing Volume 1, however.

    Just head over to ebay and put a bid on a lot of old comics. Always time to catch up, and older TF comics are usually pretty cheap!

    Part of the reason of my making the cartoon was to show just how cool the comics are, and to draw folks to take a look at reading them.

    Interesting observation :-) As much as I loved Greg Berger's Grimlock in the G1 'toon, comic book Grimlock is a totally different character, so I went a different direction with the voice. I think Peter nailed down the gruff, but intelligent, comic book Grimlock to a tee.
