The Trooping Of The Colour is even worse. Not only is there more talking (will Hugh ever learn the secret of the spin wheel, tch) but they seem to insist on pulling the camera right back for a panoramic views or go right in for peculiar close-ups.

I wonder how many complaints the BBC ignore when they show the tattoo, that idiot who talks over the music spoils it every year. I've been to the tattoo twice and it is a great experience.

i went their this year it was the single most amazing thing i've seen yet right when the lone piper started a stupid person starts CALLING SOME ONE and for the whole lone piper i herd "HELLO ... HELLO ... CAN YOU HEAR ME" ruined the hole thing for me

Thanks so much for this video. I can download `The Black Bear` .. but, it`s always got a brass section playing!!! At last, I can have, just, `my boys` playing their pipes n drums!!! I watch this at least once a day. Thank you so much.

It is easier to say than to play....took me ages to play it like that :) was worth all the effort in the end though.

I am so envious! As a less than average piper and a "Yank" at that, I can only wish. On another personal note, for those of us that got tears in our eyes listening to this version of "Crags of Tumbledown" know why. Not love of country or heritage, but for the sacrifice and the determination of the Scots Guards, the Royal Engineers and other forces involved in that assult. There was alot of regimental pride and honor in those tears in P/M Lauder's eyes. Our tears honor their sacrifice!
