they didn't hate jason. but they did take out their frustrations on him . he was always the "new guy".

They hated Jason. They loved his as a bandmate but took out Cliffs death on him. Lars and James are very controlling human beings and the things they do alot of time borders on toddler-like temper tantrums. I love metallica to death but it's true. Shelving Orion wasn't all about Jason, I do understand grief 100% but it seems weird the song was played 20 years and 2 bass players later. Like I said, it's their song and I understand Cliff's death but I think 20yrs is overkill for such a great song.
