So he puttet him more on the trips or like i sad A-10....he never beleieved he had a done straight there...He even knew he CANT havea straight draw after paying this much till the river...so his affermation of trips was confermed...an by flopping HIS trips he wanted to bust him!...it was a had ups...in a heads up even a double pair is a damn good reason to call every all in...his reraing on the River was the right bet cause Matt was even pot comitted so he KNEW he would get out the maximum!

More importantly, there is no point for Teddy to bet the river if he truly believes Mike missed his gut straight. There is no point in betting(especially going all in) because he would only be asking to be called by a better hand; if you think he missed, he wont call your bet anyway, so why bother putting it in. Pretty stupid poker. But yes just a movie...

In any real poker game, Mike McD calling down Teddy's 4400 bet on the turn, would alert teddy that Mike has a big hand, and teddy would have been much more cautious on the river. Not believable.

Good ? I think it means that Mike no longer feels like he owes Wourm anything for taking the fall for him when they were younger. He got back into playing to help him out I guess he felt guilty and now he feels he no longer owes him because Worm burned him.

One thing I never understood in the movie is that when Mike says: as for worm, well I fiogure we're even. what does that mean? doe sit mean now that worm's dept is paid and that's it or what?
