Bands today are too busy making a one hit and cashing in (Thanks Moby!) Tom Schultz was such a perfectionist in recording and live performance. I saw Boston at UGA 80' Sammy Hagar opened. Hell what happened!

The reason I don't think there are true great bands like this anymore because it's all aboout money and greed and lineing there pockets today, back in the day everyone was so high and only cared about the world and eachother.. and that's why the hippies ruled.

It ended early. People today don't know what good music is, or how to write. It's all this MTV mainstream rap S**t (sorry about language) and I'm getting mad. I vow I'm going to change this when I start my band. I'm going to be the next Zeppelin, Boston, Aerosmith, Stones, Hendrix, Kiss, Who, and many more!

Can't resist posting on such a wonderful piece. I challenge anyone to say anything negative about this band.
Its so unfortunate that Brad Delp has passed away. How sad for him, his family and his band. A true loss. Can't say more than that.

I still call it Pine Knob too. It will never be GTE to me...or anybody I know. Boston was a big part of my past and my present. Great group. Only saw them once and that wasn't at Pine Knob. Heard today on CSX that Boston has hired a new lead singer.....We'll see.
