I agree. George once said had the Beatles stayed together it probably would have been the Beatles just backing up each other's solo stuff. And the Beatles had some big hits after the break-up. Can you imagine all those songs being on the same album (ca. 1970-1973)? Anyhow, Yoko, I read, didn't want to be in Anthology because she didn't want to take away from any of the time they might devote to John Lennon.

I dont agree. Most Beatle songs, especially after 66, was either a composition by Lennon alone, McCartney alone, or George anyway. They just continued the process. John wrote it, they finished it. Thats what they always did in the studio years anyway. so YES, IT IS a REAL Beatles song, as far as Im concerned. Yoko gave it, gave her permission, and she is Johns rep now, I dont think she would allow anything John wanted to do anyways.

No it isn't it's an original lennon song, which Pual McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr then re-worked, the result was a campy tune. I like what they did with free as a bird, but real love I think is an unfortunate error. This demo is infinitely more beautiful.
