Music for Flugelhorn

Ah, so he has a 4th rotary valve tuned a 1/2 step. Interesting! I always thought he used a custom 5 bell.

Frank plays on a custom (5?) Benge flugelhorn, and uses a custom GR mouthpiece.

Wow! Ugh. I never said that a flugelhorn is a second class/ part instrument. The fine work of Frank Fezishin shows that the flugelhorn can be featured well, even in a symphony. The flugelhorn is not an instrument that should be in every band; however the flugelhorn can be featured well in many bands. Many excellent bands do not have flugelhorns, and many excellent bands do have flugelhorns. UtterWin , you really need to work on the way that you express your views, your approach is very poor.

Superb. Wow, it is SO refreshing to hear someone who really gets what a flugelhorn is, and who understands how to make a flugelhorn sound correctly,including presenting its french hornish qualities.
