Dr. Kaku forgot to mention that the aliens might be communicating not with electromagnetic signals propagating trough our normal 3D space. communication trough the vast gulf of space (say hundreds of lightyears) would impractical if not meaningless if it can only travel at lightspeed. probably they communicate trough micro wormholes?
