i really don't see what is so special about her voice, like signing the same octave the whole song and she sounds flat when the musicians aren't playing her part

She is one of the all time best singers in the world. She has a vocal range that is terrific and hard to top!! Thanks for sharing this video.

I have to praise Linda for not selling out for the sake of a hit record. She has kept all of her integrity thru the years - and as anyone who reads the covers of the "Rags" while in the check out line can attest - keeping your integrity intact nowdays is impossilbe (even for a successful career that spans only a couple of years) but to do it for many, many years is quite an accomplishment. With Linda that place inside her where the music comes from has never changed - I hope it never does.

This woman is a national treasure. It really doesn't matter what she looks like. When she was a kid she was physically sweet like many North American women and ya know what she grew older like we all do. She is still a beautiful woman and still sings better than anyone I know or care to know. She's a North American icon and always be. Anyone who disagrees really doesn't have a clue about what I'm talking about.

Linda has had Hashimoto's Disease since a young age. On of the effects is unaccountable weight gain.
She refused to marry because she felt marrying outside her field (music industry) would result in certain divorce. The Hollywood syndrome. She never found anyone inside her field that she wanted to marry. So... The price of an extremely successful career....

Actually, she's over 61. Born in 1947.

Maybe its just me, but I find her more attractive now than 35 years ago. Maybe I just love her voice.
