RC Scale Model of an Messerschmitt ME-110 flown by Jim Suchy at the Lorain County RC Club's Crawfield Field on Sunday evening 7/15/07.

The Messerschmitt Bf 110 (often erroneously called Me 110) was a twin-engine heavy fighter ('Zerstörer' - German for 'Destroyer') in the service of the Luftwaffe during World War II. Later in the war it was changed to fighter-bomber (JagdBomber-Jabo) and night fighter operations, and it became the major night fighter type of the Luftwaffe.

Hi. Most impressive film of a beaut model. I have been flying a 6ft 110 for some years, & at presemt am building a scaled up one for os 55ax engines. What engines does yours have?. I am flying Zenoah 28 & 38s in 30% Fokker DR1 & D7, Would Love to use Zenoahs in a larger model. The 110 is the best scale twin one can build, erverything is in the right place. I am in New Zealand. Cheers, Alan.

  • That's in the ...

That's in the markings of Wolfgang Schenck, Staffelkapitän of 1. Staffel, SKG 210. But it needs to have the letter 'A' in blue, and the white area of the fuselage cross needs to be reduced.

  • I´m glad to know ...

I´m glad to know that. Because the film
does not show the landing, it gives the
impression that something went wrong. To fly
a scale model + twin engines requires
a lot of skill. Thank you and good flights.

Nice piece of work. I`m a R/C pilot too. The
hardest part of the flight is to land in one piece. Did it land in one piece?

  • Tell the camera ...

Tell the camera operator to switch to manual focus, then zoom out to infinity and focus the lense. After he has done that tell him not to focus again. Now When he zooms the lense in and out the aircraft should be in continues focus. Outstanding Model.
