Absolutely brilliant song! A masterpiece of psychedelic rock and roll. It's definitely one of the best songs from the 60s, a decade that produced so much great music. (Too bad the title is so silly!)

i thought some of the members seemed arrogant. yes...but they were a great musical group. I think that was Marty Balin who got knocked out by a Hell's Angel at that speedway in Dec. 69. Things got pretty hairy.

I remember when my mother gave me the "after bathing at baxter's" album... the first song, THIS SONG...this was a revelation for me! I never stopped listen JA since... it's so hard to heard them on french radio :(

One of the great songs of the 60's from one of the most undervalued groups. Their stuff was way too good for AM radio.
