Everyone who insults the violinist: It is not supposed to sound like a traditional violin. It is a Harding violin. They have a flatter sound. I think that it sounds nice.

This song wasn't first sung by Josh Croban. The first guy who sang "You raise me up" was Brian Kennedy. Go and watch the video of "The making of You raise me up." Josh Croban came out later and re-did the version and made it more dynamic.
