  • Just did some ...

Just did some research about getting my own shop. I had no idea how much it will cost to get a full-serviced operation up and running. Commercial real estate alone (with 5 bays and up) starts from like half a mill or you can rent it for about $8K per month. I can now see where the "jerkiness" come from in the mechanics world, but I am not going to give up that easy and hopefully one day have one of these shops up and running. Wish me luck! :)

I can't believe mechanics charge like $200 for something like this. Maybe I need to open a car shop myself :). I just got a quote from my mechanic to replace the the ignition coils for like $450 parts and labor. I did it myself and it took me about 5-10 minutes to do the job and the parts only cost me around $53 for both coils. Car shop owners are immoral jerks!!!
