F 18 Super Hornet US Navy

i worked on the f-14B for 3 years and have been workin on the Super Hornet for the last 5 years, awesome A/C, very maintenance friendly

I just enlisted in the NAVY and to be a pilot you must be a commissioned officer. And that means at least 1bachelor degree if you're worried about the smarts. In any military everything is mostly seen as training anyways... You have to train and learn to be "qualified" for that position. The military invests large amounts of money to train. They want to be absolutely sure you're capable to operate their expensive equipment. I'd say Go NAVY. Best opportunity to further education+see the world.

this is my favorite part of the Quad City Airshow. when the the thunderbirds are here, the Navy has an early Super Hornet flight demonstration. NASA had a legacy hornet too. that was cool
