    wrong... the majority (60%) of belgians speak dutch (locally known as flemish in english, or vlaams in dutch), 38% speak french, and 2% speak german. much of belgium used to be the southern netherlands, that should ring a bell.

    i'm always amazed at how little people know about their neighbouring countries.
