yeah I will have to find a way, for now I can just take footage of fire and change the blending mode and it works well, but making my own would be better than relying on stocks.

  • In order to have ...

In order to have very realistic fire you should buy plug-ins for After Effects do a google search for Panopticum Fire or something simular. However I think I will produce a tutorial to create not bad looking fire of the type you require by just using After Effects.

  • Its a nice start ...

Its a nice start for learning after effects, fire is important to me and while it has the color of fire it just isnt animated like fire. Id like to see more of a fire you can put on wood to make it look like its burning, or a person :P

  • Only my first frame ...

Only my first frame renders... I think there's the red bar then the little green one, well I did exactly everything you did but only the first frame renders... the others just have grey instead of the green bar, also when I click the render button the frames turn green but it doesn't actually animate, yes I did click the watch and put 3 as revolution. I really want to make this fire please help TrackEditor!

  • Hey umm.. what do ...

Hey umm.. what do you have open in the beggining? When I put the mouse over the Layer the "new" tab thing is just grayed out... So the only option I had was to make a new composition, so I did that followed the instructions but when I finished I clicked play and it wouldn't move... it was like a picture.
