Reply part 1: As a licensed wildlife rehabilitator with lots of possum and raccoon experience, here's what I think would happen if these two met in the wild. This is a juvenile raccoon (think 12 y.o. if it were a human). At this age, raccoons are playful but also scared of ANYTHING that isn't either very small (mouse, moth) or their mom and siblings. Aww. Its adorable. I don't really like oppossums very much, but I thik the babies are adorable.

My maternal instincts say loud and clear this is a hungry baby. Next time it happens, put some formula recommended by a vet or someone from the Possum Society in his mouth.

all animals are like humans, some good some bad, in our household we taught them to be good and they didn't need to fend or hunt for food ever, or find shelter in 0 degree weather, or hide from big monsters in the forest. i don't really care who would kill which, david killed goliath, i'm just enjoying animals live harmoniously together in a shitty world

My cat came home with one attached to her and I thought it was a rat. It was a little older than this one and had silver fur.
My cat is white. We raised the opossum and named her Luna. She comes back sometimes for a treat. She grooms like my cat. She is on my channel.

This is so cute. I've never seen a raccoon playing with an opossum. going to my favorites.
